Pop into your local O2 store and get them to give you a new SIM and swap your account over. You will also need to call 202 to get your data package changed to an iPhone one.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

If you call customer service they can send one out to you 1st class post. Still without a sim for a couple of days unfortunately and I agree, it should have been mentioned at the time of upgrading.

Ring them up - DON'T use the online chat - and explain the issue tell them you need it urgently and ask them to send it for delivery tomorrow.
