Iphone 6 cost

I was wondering why 64gb iphone 6 would cost me £719 from O2 yet it's only £619 direct from apple store. Is it a typo or are O2 trying to rip people off?

It varies depending on which tariff you take.
If you take the £48 and pay £129.99 up front it only costs £609.99 slight_smile
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Hi

Unfortunately No it's not a typo. 😞

The price from the Apple Store is for a fully unlocked Sim Free iPhone.

The price from O2 is a price they have set themselves for a network locked iPhone (only works with an O2 SIM card until unlocking is allowed) ,and is because it's on Refresh your paying for the iPhone in monthly segments (phone plan part of refresh)

You could look at alternatives such as The Carphone Warehouse but they will only be able to offer a 2 year locked in contract.

It's down to disposable income too. So if your ok with a sim only contract with O2 or Payg and a lower data allowance than that of the 20gb data option on O2 refresh then you could purchase the phone outright from Apple.
