Iphone 5 suddenly gone quiet when on calls

My phone has suddenly gone really quite when I'm on calls.  It's ok if I use headphones, but not using the phone as normal.  External speakers are working fine.  Has anyone else had this problem???  I can only hear people if I turn teh volume up to max and I'm in a quiet room!

Hi

Try a reset of your iPhone by ;

Holding the Top Sleep/Wake Button and Home Button until the Apple Logo appears, and then let go of both. Your iPhone will reset.

And or ;

Settings , General , Reset , Reset All Settings.

Us the volume rocker turned up fully.

Possibly a faulty earpiece speaker - I've had to change a few over the years - Dead simple but Apple should be your first point of call if under warranty.
