Iphone 3GS - no service

Anonymous
Not applicable

hi

I just got a replacement phone - I lost my Iphone 3 GS and via insurance, I got a new one.

It looks like the Iphone can not read the SIM card - it says "No service" but when I go to Settings> Carriers> then "02-UK" is ticked/

Do i need to activate something special ?

PLease can you help ?

If you asked CS to place a block on your account after you lost your phone you will need to contact them again to get the block lifted.

If it's a new simcard it may want activating. The webchat link in my signature should get this done for you. As MI5 says, ask them to make sure the lost/stolen bar has been removed. Reboot the phone when you have done that.
