Not being an Apple person, I just saw this article and thought I'd post it. I think this is a reliable source.

Good article.

I've seen a few MacRumors posts from people unhappy too. 😞

Doesn't sound too good at all. You would think they would have tested this on the 4s before making it available and it's too late for anyone having already downloaded and installed it.

Let's hope they can release a patch to fix the problems.

Thanks @Bambino  Made interesting viewing.

So only get a 4S if you are not bothered about having the latest apps or other data eating installations?

Poor show again from Apple......
Still not updated our two 4s's and certainly won't be now. Most people could live with the slight speed differences but the battery consumption isn't great to start with so any further loss is unacceptable.

People will still be able to use most of latest apps just fine Cleoriff.

Different people are reporting back with different outcomes. Some say it's laggy and some say battery is adversely affected. However also some users say their 4S is fine.

I'm expecting an update in a few weeks so Apple can react and iron out the bugs that are being reported.

My point is though BoB...if I was reading and viewing the above link...and IF I was looking to buy...

I would be put off  by the reviewers comments....and certainly would not go for this one....

Two massive reasons not to update...

It's all typical of Apple to get people to upgrade and spend more money.....
