I got give an IPhone 5s about 3 weeks ago put in the new 4g sim that o2 sent me. Transfered my number to new sim.

Changed my o2 tariff from pay and go go go to the 4g big bundles tariff that got changed over this morning but it's still showing as 3g and not 4g. I know I'm in a 4g area. How do I get my IPhone 5s to work with 4g settings have 4g ticked.

On PAYG the data is part of your allowance so isn't a bolt on in the same sense as it is on contract sims.

I still don't seem to have 4g yet I have a big bundle £15 pay and go tariff and the sim that o2 sent me over a week ago that I got my number Transfered to is 4g. I been to work most of the day and I know the area at work is 4g. I also have 4g turned on in setting. Just seems very strange. o2 live online chat did try and sort of help yesterday but the problem has still not been solved.
I wonder if I pop in to the o2 shop at the end of the week they will be able to help.

A shop can't help you with account settings.
You need to get CS to check that your data is set to iData and not Blackberry that most people seem to get put on if not checked.
Honestly mate, I've said this to you about 4 times on this thread now so make a quick call and ask the question, then we can move on if it still doesn't work.

Please follow the advice above, it's the only way forward.

Have finally got it fixed ordered a replacement sim from o2. Swapped sim this evening and after an hour or so I now have 4g with my old number.
