Have an iPhone 4 with SIM and I'm buying a 5 off my friend. How will my contract transfer?

Hi, so at the moment I am using an iPhone 4 which I am using my contract SIM on for my texts, minutes and data. I am buying an iPhone 5 off og my friend this week and would like to know how I can use the iPhone 5 with my contract? As they require two different SIM cards how would I go about having it transferred to the new nano sim that I have ordered in the post?

Hi,
I'm buying my stepdads iPhone 5 and I currently have a 4 SIM card. I've just ordered a contract only aim card and selected an iPhone aim but it didn't ask me which one I required... Will I be able to swap it if it's not the right one? Thanks :):):)

Hi

Any O2 shop has these in stock and they can sort out a new sim and sim swap for you if convenient.

You will be able to perform the swap but if it's the wrong type of card it will automatically load the wrong information into your phone.
You do need to check it's the correct one for your account before proceeding with the sim swap.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
