Deleting messages doesn't have delete option

Very often if I click to delete messages I am able to select them but then the bin icon isn't present.
Anyone else have this problem.
By 'often' I mean this happens once every 4/5 times of trying.

Which messaging app are you using?

I know that with Hangouts you can delete a whole thread, but if you try to delete more than one whole conversation or 'thread' at a time it doesn't let you.

If you are using an Apple device (just noticed this is in the Apple section) - I don't have a clue! Sorry!

Try a reset by holding the home and power keys until the apple logo appears as this clears most glitches with the software.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
