Data whilst on call

I've just noticed today that I can't use data whilst on a call.
It has been working fine up until today.
i Sometimes need to access the web whilst on a call and it saved a lot of hassle but can't anymore.
Is there any reason anyone might be aware of why this has stopped?

Usually a temp network issue.
Question has been asked before and we've tried it and it's been OK so just isolated glitches which usually fix themselves.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

It also depends what service you are on, if you are on 2G / EDGE then data is not available during a call. 3G should be uneffected.
