OK, so, I've got an iPhone 4, and upgraded to iOS6. Since then I keep getting 'Could not activate cellular data network - you are not subscribed to a cellular data service.'
Any clue how to fix this?
I've tried following the instructions shown below, but after going through Settings and General it doesn't show Mobile Data > Mobile Data Network... HELP!!!!
This may have happened if you're not on an iPhone Tariff. To resolve this you need to change your APN on the handset.
You can do this by following the below steps:
• Tap Settings > General > Mobile Data > Mobile Data Network
• Under the Mobile Data area, tap APN and enter the correct APN:
o iPhone Tariffs (Pay Monthly & Business) - idata.o2.co.uk
o Non iPhone Tariffs - mobile.o2.co.uk
o Pay & Go Tariffs - payandgo.o2.co.uk
• Tap Username and enter vertigo
• Tap Password and enter password
• Finally Switch the phone off and then back on

Somtimes a clean sweep is needed. The world of software conflicts in updates is a horrible one.
Let us know how you get along. If need be I'll give you my live address and we can go through it via chat.
As for an apple issue it could happen but I haven't seen many reports like that.
