Cannot get on internet via 3G/4g

Anonymous
Not applicable
I have an iPhone 4. I have checked via my O2 account and included in my monthly allowance/tariff is 100mb of data a month. However if I switch off wifi, or have no wifi access I CANNOT get on the internet via 3G or 4g :-(. The phone comes up with the following message whenever I try to connect "could not activate cellular data network" "You are not subscribed to a cellular data service". Please help me 🙂

Check you have 3g enabled in settings and then reset your network connections.
Manual settings here if you need them http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Apple-iOS-Devices-iPhone-iPad/Connecting-iPhone-to-Data-Services/m-p/54...
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

Alternatively text ACTIVE to 2020, save the settings and reboot the phone.

you also need to check in My O2 that you have the idata bolt on.
