Can anyone recommend a good case and screen cover. Please!

all I ever used with my 3g was the 'sock' and it worked perfectly, my 3g is 2 years old and it does not have one tiny scratch anywhere, I even dropped it twice whilst in the sock, on tarmac and it was fine, call me lucky I don't know but for iphone 4 all I got was the apple socks

I'm using the Gear4 one that I bought from O2 on launch day. Can highly recommend it. Silicon round the side of the phone and a clear and solid plastic back on it to stop the glass on the back scratching or worse breaking! Looks like a bumper (if your after one of them from Apple) but with the added protection at the rear

I had the incipio feather case for my 3gs. Been a very good case for me.

Will be getting the incipio case for the iphone 4g if they are already out.

just need the iphone 4g 1st lol.

Gear4 are great and dont make the phone chunky like some full body cases, only prob is it sometimes gets dust under the cover which is annoying but take it out to clean every now and again, better than getting a nice new iphone4 scratched i guess.

i got the Defender case for my 3GS, granted its like a solid brick, but its a hard shell with a rubber skin as well. plus there is a screen ontop of the phone's display, and pretty much all holes except for the speakers are covered up with rubber caps.
i've droped my phone a few times and its still in good condition, not even any dust on it.
but i guess some people wont like their iphone covered up like i do, i am parnoid as i didnt get any extended warrenty or insurance for my 3gs when i got it.

I also got the Gear4 case that is similar to the bumper. It seems to work pretty well I also got the matt effect screen covers...has anyone got any tips on how to apply these? Mine doesnt look too bad but do have a few air bubbles that are really frustrating - I tried really hard to get rid of them but no such luck yet.

Think I also want to get a sock or pouch to protect it whilst it is in my bag

I also use the Gear4 case with a clear back. Absolutely great!

Have also ordered a clear matt screen protector for the front to keep the screen scratch safe!

18 month old 3G never used a case - kept it in my jeans pocket and ensured that nothing else was in the same pocket. Looks like brand new apart from a few very light scratches on the apple logo. Glass screen is perfect.
