I'm not an Apple user in any shape or form, but I saw this article and thought it might be of interest to anyone looking to upgrade to IOS 8:

You on beta ?
Nothing as a deal breaker there for me.
Although point 6 isn't right. You cannot downgrade back to ios7 or earlier from iOS 8 even with blobs saved.
Yeah I'm on beta. Well Gold Master now which should be same as what gets released tomorrow. I have patience problems!
I've downgraded from Beta 1 and 2 back to iOS 7.x. Think I had to put the phone into recovery mode but managed to downgrade ok. Beta 1 and 2 were a little too buggy for me

Not that I've noticed. There's the odd app which freezes or crashes but the devs of them just need to patch them, ideally before tomorrow. I have had quite a few update today and expect there will be several more tomorrow no doubt.

I haven't a clue what it all means, but having reread point 6, I don't see why you're saying it isn't right? The heading says it's 'tricky, if not imposssible'. How is that not right? It's pretty much saying you can't downgrade unless you use third party non-Apple apps, which, I would imagine, 99.9% of people wouldn't do, or even know how to do.
