I have an Iphone that was given to me and for a time I was able to download via text any photos sent to me, free of charge. Now I have to turn on cellular data and my wifi to receieve photos from my family via texts and I get charged £1 per day. I am a pay and go customer and am with Sky broadband. Also as I already have to pay for Sky why am I charged £1.00 whenever I use my own wifi at home?
If I forget to turn the wifi and cellular data off on my phone at the end of the week I have lost all my money on the pay and go scheme?? what am I doing wrong??Seems having an iphone is worse for me than having my old Nokia!

cell data is needed for mms.
but what happens is other programmes are using the cell data connection to update.
wifi is not used for mms.
you need to disable any notifications etc to prevent cell data or by a data bolt on.
