mobile data connection changed from 3g to h+ wont connect

Anonymous
Not applicable

This week I noticed that my Samsung Galaxy S3 (3G sim) no longer shows as 3G when i turn mobile data on, but instead H+. I have read H+ is faster than 3G but for me it just wont connect, no apps will work, I can't search for anything on Google, it justs acts as if mobile data is turned off.
So basically at the moment when I am out and out I cant do anything on my phone that you would use mobile data for.
Please help!

That will be congestion and is typical across the network whilst updates are rolling out.

Can you not change it back to 3G @MI5? It may be a daft question but I've noticed from previous post's that Android seems to have a lot of menu options for this sort of thing..like an option to connect to 3g only...if that makes sense?!

No unfortunately you cannot choose between WCDMA bands.
