galaxy note 3 kitkat update

Hi all,

I was just wondering if there is any idea when the galaxy note 3 may get the kitkat update?

I am happy enough now but the newer version should stop some of the lag.

Many thanks

Hmmm Steve Wozniak a bitter former Co Founder.

wink

Just to digress slightly, yes I'm sure he's very bitter, bob. He must fume every time he looks at his bank account.

Yes he's got a nice healthy bank balance and i wouldn't mind being £1 in front of him.

However, for people with that amount of money its not what irks them !

Sorry forgot to ask, if o2 have confirmed my phone is unlocked but has o2 branded android, can I flash the btu version to this phone?

Can I brick my phone by doing this, if so would warranty cover It?  t

Thanks again.

Confirm yourself first (try an EE, Three or Voda sim in the phone) and if it works and is unlocked, yes, you can flash the btu version.

But only if unlocked - do not risk it without checking first.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Did you carry out a factory reset after the update? We always recommend you do so to stop conflicts with the old software.
