galaxy ace 2 downgrade to gingerbread

Hi my galaxy ace 2 was "upgraded" to jelly bean when I returned it to O2 for repair. Result so.ooo slooo.w

Can any one please advise how to reinstall gingerbread on an O2 locked phone or do I need to return to O2.

No need to root and no Knox on your device.
I'll get you the link to my Odin guide in a min and you need to get your firmware off www.sammobile.com

I don't believe you can downgrade it without rooting it which would void the warranty
Maybe @MI5 could assist

I believe this trips the Knox flag and voids manufacturers warranty.

If you perform a a google Search and look at YouTube etc you will find the avenues to go down.

We cannot discuss rooting here as per forum rules.

Currently only S3 and above but it's not enabled on S3 however you do have the Knox kernel.
