i did an early upgrade on my samsung s4 to an iphone 6s. changed my mobile number to go 4g. does anyone no when my samsung will stop.. at the moment both phones are working

You shouldn't have needed to change number to get 4g
Check in my o2 how many active connections you have and call customer services of more than expected.

Text SWAP to 20220 from the old sim. Usually done in an hours depending how busy they are.

Sounds like someone talked you into a new second contract.
I'd call CS on 202 to check and sort out.
