Not seen it mentioned elsewhere so appologies if it is but my "on loan" O2 Z1 has updated to kitkat today.

Most noticeable visual changes are to lockscreen, notifications screen and shortcut toggles, plus a new CM inspired battery gauge.

All in all some nice touches - Not had to factory reset and no glitches seen, yet.....

I can only guess you're waiting for your serial number to come to top of the list. O2 released it last week so shouldn't be long now....
