Hi All

I've recently upgraded my samsung galaxy s5 and want to sell it on. I've taken all my pictures/videos/music off but is there a way i can wipe the whole device of apps etc before i sell it on?

Just go into settings then personalisation and backup and reset. Then select factory data reset. That will completely wipe the phone.

@Anonymous Before you do a factory reset it is also advisable to encrypt your data, and also make sure you have Factory Reset Protection disabled, if you have that function on your phone. Please see the link below for a complete explanation.

Turn off phone then hold volume up, home and power all at the same time.
Once the recovery menu loads use volume down to highlight factory reset and then press the power key.
This is the safest way to remove all personal data.
