Hi, I got my new HTC One V on Thursday and am very happy with it but am unable to send emails from my aol account. I can receive them with no problems, but as soon as I try to send one a message pops up instantly saying 'unable to send email'. I've checked all the settings and they seem to be fine. Chatting to an O2 advisor wasn't helpful. Anyone got any ideas?
Thanks
Lubella.

Not being able to send emails is usually down to restrictions on your SMPT server.
Not sure if you are using POP or IMAP so here are both
Setting up AOL Mail
Name: AOL.
Username: username@aol.co.uk or username@aol.com etc.
Password: YourPassword Remember: This is CASE sensitive!.
Email Address: username@aol.co.uk or username@aol.com etc.
IMAP
Server: imap.aol.com
Port: 993
Security: Enabled, SSL, TLS
SMTP
Server: smtp.aol.com
Port: 587
Authentication: Yes, Same as POP
Security: Enabled, SSL, TLS
