Some sites must be over 18

Hi

Some sites I go to are asking me to sign up and register to access the site, it's an 02 message to restrict to over 18. Obviously I want to access any site I want to  without silly payments.

Secondly - I am doing some work on the net and have my own site but when I check it on my mobile it is giving me this over 18 requirement. Why would a site that has nothing malign on it have an over 18 flag?

Cheers

A

Customer service can remove the restriction for you. As for your own site I'm not sure why there is a restriction on there. Again, you need to call customer service I'm afraid. You can check it here :

You can have the restriction on your account lifted by following the one off CC verification process or by contacting CS http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus

It seems that some sites now just don't load up when I search and click on them. I don't know if they are still blocked. I noticed one site 'no2id' was blocked at my work and I tried it on mobile. It didn't go to the site but didn't do anything. Not sure what's up or why things still seem to be blocked. Maybe the government have a stranglehold over the networks as part of their licencing contract to restrict all "controversial" sites.

Hi

No I also have a personal blog I run and this is blocked as well on my mobile. Any other ideas why it is just a news site?

Thanks

Andrew

Are there adverts on your website via the hosting service?
