Have recently finished a contract and have gone to sim only on a 12 month contract.

simswap by text worked well , at least switched off my old sim over 24hours later new sim not registering.

saw some previous chats on a similar line from 2013 went on to live chat waited for ove 30 minutes no contact.

Have you rebooted the phone with the new sim in it?

Similar problem, had a pay as you go Doro phone changed to pay monthly on iPhone SE. Asked O2 to port my pay as you go phone number from old sim to pay monthly sim. O2 ported the pay monthly account onto the pay as you go sim on old Doro phone. Had to get O2 to do a sim swap from the Doro sim to the iPhone.

Now have phone number on iPhone as required but only have phone ability, there is no data or internet, I believe O2 messed up in the original port of the phone number, they have clearly not ported all files from Doro sim to iPhone sim.

Had 3 chates and two O2 shop visits, resulting in 3 sim swaps, O2 shops established iPhone is OK by using other active sims, cannot believe 3 sims are faulty so problem obviously a porting issue but cannot contact port team

I too have waited over 30 mins on chat this A.M.

Try texting ACTIVE to 2020, save the settings then reboot the phone. You also need to check you have the idata bolt on as it seems o2 constantly add the BlackBerry bolt on as default.

There's a good chance you don't have the idata bolt on on your account.
Call on 202 to get them to check.

Looks like they need to change the data bolt on if your having trouble accessing the Internet
