Forgot to update this over the weekend but can confirm that with the latest SkyGo app the Note 4 is "unsupported".
I can get as far as buffering the video and it comes back to say "this device is currently unsupported".
I'm sure this worked when I first received the phone (although could be wrong) but if so, I assume last weeks update had something to do with it?
Maybe withdrawn due to issues, but hopefully they will correct it and push an update soon.
For now I am using an older skyGo apk that is available on XDA which has been hacked.....
There are a few to try if you're interested here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1506967

SkyGo isn't supported on the Note 4 at the moment. Whether it will be or whether rooting is needed I'll leave to @MI5

The only issue I've had with sky Go is if the device is jail broken which I assume may be the same for rooted devices too.

Thailand  could be the problem I agree. None of the TV channels work here without using a proxy server. I didn't try it before leaving the  uk .
