Samsung Galaxy s4 overheating!!

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello, o got the Samsung galaxy s4 in November and by January it was in repair because the top half of the handset would get red hot to touch that I could almost burn myself, not the battery its from the top of the battery to the top of the handset both front and back. The charge in my phone also drains from around 80% to 25% in minutes and the phone also lags when I use it. When it went in for repair they said there was no fault, come may these problems were back so sent for repaid again where they said still no fault. Last week it started again, took it to the o2 and the o2 guru felt the phone when to me it didn't feel anywhere near as hot as it gets. Been fobbed off for 9 months now and got a feeling I still won't get a replacement handset. Anybody got any offers of help?

Got a feeling they will be the first to complain when the phone sets on fire and they've got a law suit against them. Getting fed up of this now 😞

Thanks,

Nicole.

Sounds like the processor is running constantly.
This could be a software issue which may be resolved by a factory reset

If not successful I would try speaking to Samsung directly.

Hi

X3 repairs should mean a new replacement ref o2's policy.

Perhaps levy your issues here http://www.o2.co.uk/how-to-complain/complain

You do have the option to seek assistance via the manufacturers uk support web site too.
