Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 vs the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 LTE

Hi folks,

            Hope I have posted on the right place I was hoping that you might be able to help me with this as there seems to be some confusion with it. I am interested in upgrading to the Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 however I am wondering are you able to make/receive calls with this device as you normally would with any other phone? And if not then what are the differences between Tab S 8.4 & Tab S 8.4 "LTE". Does it support texting and calling on its own without wifi?

I bought my Galaxy S 8.4 last week and took out a £15 monthly plan with 3 GB. You can get text messages on it but I haven't tried to make calls yet.

I would use ear buds to make calls otherwise you'll get some strange looks
