As alot of you know there are going to be Micro Updates (firmware updates) to the galaxy S6 in the coming months - the first one is to sort out the RAM management - 2nd one is an update with fingerprint and other improvements. Let us know in the comments if you know any other news or info regarding these.

If you can, am sure one of the updates deal with RAM mangement / Fingerprint improvement? possibly a quicker phone?

But it's an O2-DE optimisation.....

Where is the O2U optimisation.....?

My understanding is that the same CSC exists whether it's a UK/DE/ES build for the S6 updates - the correct one downloads based on which SIM is inserted. If the S6 has an O2 UK SIM, it'll download that CSC build, but the UK optimised version. Likewise for an S6 in Germany, it'll be the same CSC but will actually download the DE optimised version.

TEF isn't a UK csc code is it though
It's the remnants of the old Telefonica de code, when it was changed to O2 all branding except csc's changed.
Every O2 csc I've seen before was using the code O2U
Puzzling tbh.

My understanding :
G920FTEF1AOC1
G920F model number
TEF customisation reference (in this case TEleFonica De/ O2de
1AOC1 firmware number.
May be wrong but that's how I've always understood Sammy csc's

You are correct viridis, and Sammy ROM are very much NOT sim card dependent.
The bottom line here is that there is not a O2U optimisation for the S6 so there is no benefit for any customers over the generic UK ROM.
In fact a generic UK ROM will at least be optimised for UK networks rather than German ones.

Well if they were sim dependant, how do you get a CPW csc? Carphone warehouse don't have a sim.
