Hi
I have two Samsung GALAXY Ace phone devices I gave to friends in Africa as Xmas presents. These were my old phones that I have since upgraded with new ones. The problem is I think the devices are sim locked and the people I have given them to are unable to use them. When they put their cards in the devices it says "no sim card" or something to that effect. What can I do to unlock the the phones if that is the problem? I do not have the devices with me but I still have the packaging with the barcodes.
Many thanks
S Sibanda

Ok
Fill in this form
https://www.o2.co.uk/apps/help/help?qid=1&q1=2&route=unlocking&case=Handset%20Unlocking%20Form
If successful, you will receive a code to unlock the phone
If so, forward the code to your friends and they should be able to unlock it
It's free for contract customers and £15/each for pay as you go
Hope this helps
