SERVICE NOT ACTIVATED ON NETWORK

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi I currently have a S3 mini on pay as you go. Last night my MMS messages were being sent and received fine, but today when trying to send a MMS i got a "message not sent" and a "service not activated on network" error message. I have had new settings sent by an o2 Guru today and tried turning my phone off and back on again but it is still not working!

I am confused as to why it was working fine yesterday but not now. Normal text messages are working fine as is my mobile internet.

Any idea's?

Strangely, it sounds like MMS has been turned off on your account.
I suggest you call CS http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus and ask them to check.
It might be worth asking them to re-provision MMS services regardless.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Look at http://community.o2.co.uk/t5/Android-Devices-Samsung-HTC-Sony/Connecting-Android-Phone-to-Data-Servi... and your masts http://status.o2.co.uk

It may be worth asking O2 Customer Services is 202 for Contract -> 4445 for PAYG -> http://www.o2.co.uk/contactus to re provision your account for mms

They would have to disconnect and reconnect your mms provisioning which can take 24 hours.
