Just decided to enable push notifications on Facebook Messenger. Few questions about them in general

1) Do they use much data, as im guessing they need to send data to check for notifications?

2) Do they drain the battery much?

Data usage isn't much but select exactly which type of notifications you want in setting

Bbattery usage won't be drastic but again, select only the notifications you want

1 Not much
2 A little more but shouldn't be a huge drain.

I have several notifications set up on my iPhone and still get a days usage.

Notifications being pushed will use a little more data as suggested.

I'd you find it does then you can always disable or limit them.

Cheers. Seems the Facebook push notifications are dodgy anyway. Only work half the time

Mine work just fine. The only issue I get is sometimes the audible alert does not work.
