Good Morning,

Different phones hang onto Network and Wifi signal with different results.

Has this phone always had this issue from day 1 ?

If so ask the manufactuerer to run a diagnostic on it by sending the phone to them or ask o2 to do this. {manufacturer would be the best choice}

Sony Support.

02 Repairs.

If the phone has just developed the issue then go into the phones WiFi settings and find where is says something like 'Forget this Network",after doing this then re enter the Wep Code etc, to see if this improves the issue.

Try resetting your home router and change the wireless channel.

Sometimes a soft reset of the phone also helps.

Occasionally a Hard Reset is required but please make a back up of your data first as this typically deletes saved data.

Really? Compared to my iPhone 4 I'm amazed at how good it is!

I personally wouldn't expect my phone to give a poor performance , period.

I've just had to arrange a replacement.   Was using it yesterday evening and the screen faded. It was hot, so I recharged it and its still hot - here's hoping the new one doesn't go that way

One can only hope it will improve with updates

I left the Darkside (iPhone 4) to get the Xperia

The "darkside" as you call it is usually a lot more stable on the whole, so be prepared for some headaches and tinkering after moving to Android wink

Not to say you won't enjoy it mind!
