ive just got myself a nexus 5 with 4g sim  but dont get any signal when im at work in  the heathrow terminal building but as soon as i get outside i get a signal  ive tried changing to the 3g setting but still have problems a friend of mine got the same phone with the same sim 4g and  has no problem

   is there anything im doing wrong on my phone or is friend on the 3g sim and thats why he has a signal any help would be good

Yours should pick up 3G where 4G isn't available.
Have you got auto select for networks ticked and LTE/WCDMA/GSM auto selected?

On nexus 5 the only setting you seem to get is 3G or 4G

I thought I'd reply in case anyone found this old thread, search the Google app store for 'Radio Switcher'

this gives you more flexibility.
