My HTC One Mini will no longer connect to mobile data

For the last five days I have been unable to connect to mobile data. The live chat people tell me that it's because there's a mast down in my area but my son is also on O2 and he has no problem connecting even when sitting next to me. Any ideas?

Have managed to commute away from your local area to see if your phone connects to network data connection. Ie test out the mast issue theory. Check your masts via http://status.o2.co.uk

You could try texting ACTIVE to 2020 , save the settings and try again.

Sorry I meant to add - can you try your sim in another phone to check wether it's your SIM card or phone perhaps at fault.
