Lollipop, lollipop, where for art thou lollipop?

I am here, says Lollipop while standing atop a shiny Samsung Galaxy S5!

Okay enough of the ye olde talk – Lollipop means business. If you thought Jellybean was buttery smooth, then you’ve not seen what Lollipop can do. This is a major platform update and isn’t just a collection of minor bug fixes or anything like that… This is a full blown update – new eye candy, new & fresh menus, new features – all while keeping the system running smooth & fluid while keeping your battery life in check too. You can find out here what Lollipop can do > http://www.android.com/versions/lollipop-5-0/

The update is now live via KIES and should be live via OTA update towards the end of the week, so go grab it now and let us know your thoughts on the new update

It could have an effect if a different modem is packaged with the update.....

That'll explain it - Your signal will come and go for a bit until they get it all sorted....

It was 2 to 3 weeks in my area when we got 4G.....

I didn't noticed any battery issue. If I do not play half of a day 'Boom beach' than I can use my phone for 2 days, but I do not talk a lot.

Battery life is not a problem for me since 5.0 update. It may even be better, but I have no specific evidence - it just seems to last a bit longer 🙂

After updating via OTA yesterday, have noticed bad battery drain.  Have read elsewhere that it may be an app conflciting with Lollipop, though going to try a factory reset to see if that does the trick (not holding my breathe).

Cant say I'm impressed with Samsung when they profess that the battery will last longer, when in fact the phone needs recharging after just over half a days use and when only used moderately.
