LG G4 Boot Loop

Anonymous
Not applicable

I have an LG G4 which is about 6 months old.

Over the last couple of days it keeps getting stuck in a "boot loop" and is currently now completely

frozen and useless, anyone else having these issues?

Should I contact LG or 02 ??

Help appreciated.

According to reports (US website) LG have advised to take it back to where you brought it from or contact them directly.

Seeing as the issue is down to a loose connection in the phone's hardware, I would suggest LG direct, particularly with o2's repair centres being less than well regarded...

I am sure there is something you can do with the LG to reset it...I will leave that to others to explain @Anonymous

However if it does have to go in for repair then you should definitely go with LG. It is still under warranty after all...

Edited to add....as @gmarkj has indicated this is a known fault...then LG should definitely be the ones to contact

Contact LG directly.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

If it's a known fault you shouldn't have any problems. Just to cover yourself, send the phone to LG by recorded delivery, and if you can, take photos of the condition of the phone before you send it. Please come back and let us know how you get on. Good luck.
