I have read that lollipop is finally hitting the G2 in some European countries and since we all use the same G2 variant (LGD802 international) I was wondering when it will be available to o2 customers? Have O2 even approved it yet? Considering rooting if I have to wait much longer since it was released in December for He lol

At last.

O2 Lollipop uk update for the LG G2  is now available through the LG Mobile support tool.  Be patient, takes about an hour to download and update.  The download file is just under 2 gig, so better use the tool rather that OTA.

Can't update the os using a Mac! The lg pc suite for Mac doesn't have the option! Shattered! I will have to hold my breath for the OTA update.

As LG has now released the approved lollipop upgrade for the O2 LG G2 and it is available on the LG mobile support site, is it ok to download and upgrade or do we have to wait for O2 to issue it?

If it's available to download and you're confident flashing it, then do it.
It could be anything up to a few weeks before it arrives OTA.

My lg g2 is still on v 4.4 with o2, shouldn't I have got an update by now? It says I'm running the most up to date version available when I check for a software update manually, last update was in November 2014.
