My sim free Note 2 is still showing as no updates available but if it's being released O2 will obviously go through their extensive testing period.

We have been promised KK for what seems an eternity so let's hope this gets released in the uk as soon as possible.

So UK Carriers are now pushing out the KK update. So Chris are o2 still not going to release this update to customers with Note 2 phones????????????

Auto update happened on O2 UK today Monday 28 July 2014 (427.85MB about 1 hour) from 4.3 N7100XXUEMJ9 to KitKat OS 4.4.2 N7100XXUFNE1

Contacted UK customer support this morning and they were unaware when the roll out of the update would occur.

KitKat update for the Note II happened this morning in UK on O2 - see my earlier post - with no problems although it took one hour. Cheers, Tom

Well Szczepanik all I can say to you is that you must have a special phone with special access to o2 firmware updates. As my Note 2 will not update OTA or trying to force it also will not update via Kies.
Hang on is your phone open and you just using an o2 sim?????

Please Note o2 is now the ONLY UK carrier that has not updated its customers Note 2 to KK 4.4.2

I have a sim free Note 2 and using an O2 sim. No sign of any update despite checking daily via the phone and via Kies.
