Help needed

Hi.

I am about 15 months into a 24 month contract and have 02 premier plus insurance.
I have a Samsung galaxy s3 and have a few problems with it, the battery runs out quicker than it normally should and I when people phones me or I phone them I have to shout and I can barely be heard.
I should mention that about 6 days ago I dropped my phone and there is a crack on the screen. I doting think this has caused the above problems.

Would I get a new phone under the insurance I have got if I take it to my local 02 shop? What would I expect to happen?

https://www.o2.co.uk/shop/insurance/mobile-insurance you need to ring o2 to arrange an insurance claim but check the small print on timescales for reporting accidental damage etc
