HTC one V (Says there is no sim card in the phone)

Anonymous
Not applicable

This past week I have had problems with my htc one v not accepting my simcard, I have had  this phone for almost a year now and its never done it before. I have tried cleaning it / putting a small piece of paper in there in case the sim is loose / and even put other simcards in it but its still saying the same thing. HELP?

First thing to try is a new simcard. Pop into your local O2 store for a new sim and they will arrange the number change.

Failing that a phone repair may be necessary.

I would guess SIM reader has failed (or is damaged) so it will have to go in for repair.
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.
