HTC ONE(M8) - delayed texts

I upgraded to the HTC ONE(M8) last week and ever since some of my text messages are delayed in being delivered. Has anyone had a similar problem? Delay varies from about 15 mins to over 3 hours.

Have tried cleaning sim etc and mobile settings seem to be as they should.

Hi.

Quite a few recent threads discussing this subject.

Try cleaning your sim first and or getting it swapped out at an O2 shop as yours may be faulty.

Re boot your phone and check your service status.

Some Find it's a short glitch that resolves itself.

I can receive texts ok and they are not delayed, and I dont have a problem with making/receiving phone calls so cant see why it would be the sim if its outgoing texts only? Is hard to check also as it is intermittent, some texts are received the other end straight away but some take ages.

Have check the service in the area and it is fine and as I said previously I have cleaned the sim, have also tried re booting the phone many times as well.

Seems you have tried the generic solutions.

Seems at one point or another networks suffer from this whether it's congestion on kne set of masts I don't know.

Other network forums hold the same problem from customers time to time. 😞

It could still be the SIM card it doesn't cost anything to change I would say it's worth a try personally
