Well HTC have announced their new flagship, as expected the main selling point is a OIS front facing camera.

It does address some of the shortcomings from the previous iterations such as better battery, better rear camera, and more but I feel it is all too little too late to save HTC. They needed to do something big and bold to make people look up, and I feel this phone just won't deliver.

Plus with the price point expected to be that of the S7 it's a tall ask.

It just seems to me that going through the CPW to stay on the same network to get a handset that absolutely should be available from the provider directly is a massive ball-ache. This is a premium flag ship device after all.

In fairness @Anonymous I would have to agree with you...

Neither do we, but O2 don't appear to agree with the general public at the moment on it.

I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Currently using:
Pixel 7a (O2 & Lyca), One Plus 6 (Sfr), iPhone 12 Pro Max (Vodafone)

I have pre ordered one through HTC's site.

I will remain on O2 but will be sim only as that suits family best plus I get 30% work discount Dance

I don't think it is a cocincedence that the two networks that heavily customise their ROMs are the two networks not stocking the phone.

HTC has cleaned up Sense and removed all the duplicate apps, plus they want to push updates quicker to the handsets, something the custom ROMs prevent or slow down.
