Well HTC have announced their new flagship, as expected the main selling point is a OIS front facing camera.

It does address some of the shortcomings from the previous iterations such as better battery, better rear camera, and more but I feel it is all too little too late to save HTC. They needed to do something big and bold to make people look up, and I feel this phone just won't deliver.

Plus with the price point expected to be that of the S7 it's a tall ask.

You can also buy adapters to allow you to use your old chargers.
An example of such here https://www.amazon.co.uk/Adapter-Updated-TechMatte%C2%AE-Connector-Supported-Black/dp/B0151RKYBG
I have no affiliation whatsoever with O2 or any subsidiary companies. Comments posted are entirely of my own opinion. This is not Customer Service so we are unable to help with account specific issues.

Got a great deal for the HTC10 from mobiles.co.uk . It's still part CPW but cheaper going online.

Please excuse the silly question Smiley Embarassed

HTC allow you to set your SD card to share internally on your phone. You have to leave it in all the time then.obvs. Whenever I change phones ..not for a long time Smiley Very Happy .. do I just reformat it? X

Yes as all the data is encrypted.
I also personally wouldn't bother as:
1 SD cards are not designed to be used like that, life will decrease
2. If anything happens to your phone, your data is gone.
3. Speed of device could take a hit.

Can I just say that it is more than a little frustrating that O2 will not be stocking this phone, it is very very very frustrating!!!!!

I have been waiting for my phoneplan on my HTC M8 to finish prior to upgrading and was waiting for the HTC 10 to be avilable on O2 before I did so.

Having been an O2 customer for many many years I do not appreciate being railroaded into changing handset brands just because O2 have made a shortsighted decision not to stock this flagship model, despite the fact that almost all reviewers have rated it as one of the top three phones currently on the market and stated that it is considerable step up from the flop that was the HTC M9.

I will now be looking to change companies to one that can provide me with the handset I want.

A very disappointed, soon to be ex O2 customer.
