Galaxy S5 keeps locking out

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi There,

I've just received a new galax S5 from an O2 store, within a week my phone screen keeps freezing and the only way to open the phone is by removing the battery and restart the phone so I can access it.

Any advice please or should I just return it to the O2 store.

Kind regards

Alan

Same advice really, return it. If you fix the problem by doing a factory reset it may well develop the same problem later down the line. You could try deleting the apps and adding them back one by one but that takes time. Much better to get the phone exchanged now whilst still within the 14 days.

If you're within the first 14 days, return it to the store. They should give you a new phone.

I DO NOT WORK FOR O2

Try Taking out any sd card you may have in it, sometimes a corruption can cause the media scanner to go nuts.
If not, I'd personally return it to be swapped out
