Broken phone/ using sim in another 02 phone

Hi,

 

Just dropped and broke my samsung s4 phone, will have to send it away to be repaired, can i use the sim in another phone, ideally a pay as you go one as that will be the cheapest to buy,

You can use the sim in any o2 or unlocked phone. However it will remain as a contract tariff that you are presently on. You can't change it to Payandgo. 

Ideally send it to Samsung and not o2.

Any cheap phone will do as jonsie says and if it needs a different sized sim an o2 shop will swap it over for you temporarily too, for free.

Thats ideal, i dont want to change it to pay as you go anyway so will keep it on the contract im on now untill mine is either repaired/ changed under the insurance..

 

Any idea if i can get the pictures off it when isend it for repair as got some of my old dog on there i would really like to save,

If the pics are on a sd card they will remain there but take it out before you send it off.
If on the phone you can save them to your pc as long as the phone still turns on.

Backing up to Google should keep the photos but follow @MI5 advice re the so card and PC.
