Hello all,

I have had a look and couldn't find a thread directly related to this so please exuse me if its duplicated elseware. With Google offically rolling out 5.0 (lollipop) to Nexus 5 and 7 Wifi I thought it would be good to have a dedicated thread where we can update people.

http://www.dailytech.com/Google+Initiates+Rollout+of+Lollipop+Updates+for+Nexus+5+7+and+10/article36...

If you get the update please state if your Nexus is unbranded and model please.

I have a Wifi only Nexus 7 32GB, obvously unbranded, and as of now there is no update......

Thank you slight_smile

I did see this but thought it was just a thread about flashing it yourself.

There is always this one that could be used?

I know it started off about the Easter Egg, but did turn into a generalised Android L one.

great news @Anonymous ! What do you think? Still waiting for my unbranded Nexus 5! Every time I get an e-mail notification I'm hoping it's a 'software update available' notification instead!

Did the install go smoothly?

I set it off updating last night and fell asleep so I haven't actually had a chance to use it yet. I'll have a look later today and will post my thoughts.

I've got a Nexus 5 too, still waiting for an update on that though. I can't imagine it'll be too long. In the past I've had updates on the Nexus 7 first and then the Nexus 5 about a week or so later.

I've had a chance to have a play and I have a mixed opinion at the moment. The first things you'll notice is that the keyboard is a little different. The icons for back, home and recent apps has changed. The notifications have changed, I've been used to pulling down on the left and right corner a of the screen to get notifications or settings, but now its the one menu with settings accessed by pressing on the grey bar at the top. Some things seem a bit laggy, but that maybe be a hint to remove some rubbish. Looks good though, I suppose time will tell.
