Alcatel one touch Pixi - GPS not found - Pokemon Go

Just bought this tablet Alcaltel Pixi 5.1 running kit kat 2nd hand.

I don't know if it is a sim card problem (topped up with £10 but doesn't receive calls but makes my iphone ring).

or tablet problem

or O2 problem.

Trying to get Pokemn Go to run on it.

Any ideas? Thank you.

OK, good news - it should have GPS.
Download this free app from play, go stand outside in a clear space and run the app https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.chartcross.gpstest&hl=en
It will tell you if GPS is working and how many satellites it can fix on.

It seemed to work and said I had a 3D fix with 26 in view and 13 in use , oooh, so maybe a problem with the tablet settings or O2 settings?

No, shouldn't make any difference as GPS is a sensor on tablet and not connected to any other settings.
I don't play the pokey game but have a look in the settings to see if you need to allow it to connect to GPS and just check the tablet settings that location services are set to high accuracy.

Not at all. I have made no secret of the fact I find pokemon go a bit silly....but each to their own. I understand some people find it very exciting.....
