Is this for the Z3C as well, that 5.1.1 has been sent to Sony?

If you read back in the thread to post 6 you would see that Chris K said this.....

5.1.1 has been approved by us today for Z2 and Z3 devices and have been sent to Sony for final approvals and scheduling. We have no ETA but when things hit this stage and get passed back to the vendor, you're usually not waiting too long before it starts pushing out

Yep, I saw that but you can take that either way as Sony usually refers to them as Z3 series (or something like that), so just wanted to clarify it 😉

Also reading on xda that there's been issues with 4g dropping out on some 5.1.1 versions out there for other countries. Can anyone comment if that's an issue with this firmware?

I see (from XperiaFirm) that Three, Vodafone and Virgin Mobile have got the update now (and yes, in the UK).

Trust me, it's worth the wait. Ime O2 Sony updates are faster than the rest and offer better networking options including 3g/4G only.

We had it on good authority that it would be 'soony' (patent of the word soony is owned by @viridis) Happy Dance
